  1. Sign into Joppar.
  2. Drag and drop the content, in this case the image of your new app intro,  anywhere onto the screen.

  5. Once the window appears to confirm if you want to delete your content, click on the red “Delete Asset” button to remove the asset.

  3. Select the content you want to change the name of from the file list.
  4. Hover and click over “Asset Name” until a line appears under the name.
  5. Change the name by typing in a new name.
  6. Click on the “Save Changes” button to save the file name change

  3. In the blue section of the screen, click on the button that says “Dropbox”
  4. Sign into Dropbox.
  5. Select your files (you can select more than one file at a time).
  6. Press “Upload”.
  7. Wait a few seconds for the files to upload to our servers.
  8. Press “Live” to make those new files available to your mobile app users. Your Dropbox files will be available to users in a few seconds.

To invite a new team member to Content you must be an admin on the account.

  1. Sign into your Content account.

  2. Select the app from the “Apps” dropdown you want to add the new team member to.

  3. Select “Team” from the toolbar right below the “Apps” dropdown.

  4. Click on the “Invite Members” button.

  5. Enter the email address of the team member you want to add to the account. You can enter more than one team member at a time, simply add a comma after each email address. Example:[email protected][email protected]

  6. Press “Send Invite”.

 

An invitation email has now been sent to all the team members. They will get instructions on how to create accounts and sign in to manage their content.

What happens to my files when I press “Go Offline”?

Your files stay right where they are online, saved on our service. They are just not available for your mobile app users to see.

Interface builder/Storyboards
  • Use our convenient subclasses JPImageView, JPLabel, and JPTextView for UIImageView, UILabel, and UITextView respectively within your storyboards.

  • Once that’s in place, just add a single User Defined Runtime Attribute with a Key Path named “assetKey”, type String, and a value that matches the name of an uploaded asset, for example “logo”

Use methods from our SDK
  • For example, to get an NSData object for an uploaded asset named “introVideo” you would write [JPContent getDataForKey:@”introVideo”]

Standard UIImage class method to fetch images.
As long as the name of the image in the Joppar web portal matches what you request in [UIImage imageNamed:@”imgName”], you don’t have to touch a thing. Example: Let’s assume your app requests a local image asset such as [UIImage imageNamed:@”logo”]. If there is an image named “logo” in the Joppar web portal, the fetched asset will automatically be used, otherwise the local version of “logo” would be used as if Joppar doesn’t exist.

We take security very seriously (we even wrote a little guide about the basics on mobile app security here) and have taken steps to ensure your content and your mobile users’ data is protected.

  • SSL Encryption
    • All communications within our web portal and between our mobile SDK and our servers are all behind an SSL encrypted connection

  • Data Encryption
    • Your uploaded content is encrypted on our server before being stored. Your content also is sent to your mobile app via our mobile SDK in its encrypted state over an SSL encrypted connection.

    • Only when the content is verified that tampering hasn’t taken place and is stored on the mobile device, is when it is finally decrypted

  • Other
    • We never store passwords unsalted in plain text

    • We never ask for passwords when you need support

    • The encryption algorithms to secure your data are unique to your data

    • We never share your information or your mobile users’ information with 3rd parties
